Goodnight and Sweet Dreams

Our time in Florence today flew by...it was a food lover's day, with little time for anything else. We are making a list of places we intend to return to...Florence is at the top of it for us. It is also a leather lover's paradise...you could smell the leather in the market stalls that lined the streets as we walked along on the tour. Although this was a day to temp our taste buds, the city has so much more to offer and deserves a return trip


Fish for dinner...trying to eat light and save room for the chocolate buffet


I tried to skip dessert, but she brought one anyway...one bite and I was done...but it was very good


These chocolate fountains keep popping up everywhere...think they'd install one in my cabin???

These were so yummy--milk chocolate covered cheesecake..I had a few...well maybe a bit more than that....who's counting anyway???


The tables went around the room...it was a sea of chocolate just waiting to be tasted


Vanilla or chocolate creme brûlée...what's your pleasure?


The crowds around each table were thick with lookers and photographers...not so sure many folks were eating...

This is pretty much all I tasted...trying to make sure my clothes still fit when I get home...so far, so good...thank goodness we have no more eating days like today...not sure I can keep the pace up much longer :)



Time to say goodnight and find our way down the hallway to our cabin...we are sure gonna miss this place.
