Dubrovnik--Part 2

The town of Ston was to be our next stop. The subject matter of this town would be the ancient salt fields that were built by the Romans and still farmed with the same techniques used in the 1400's.


No food was consumed, purchased or even photographed in this town...and to be quite honest, although salt is certainly related to food, I personally don't use it nor do I purchase it for consumption. The significance of this town was pretty much lost on me. I did, however, grab a few quick shots of the authentic wall which was built around the town.



If you have a lot of energy and time, you can climb this thing...yikes!


Next up...vineyard, cheese and bread..nice combination
